Student Flight Program
I graduated from Coffee County Central High School in 1999 and went on to Martin Methodist College where I majored in Religious Studies and minored in Psychology. I graduateded from MMC in 2003.
I recieved a Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2012 and went on to get a second Masters from Grand Canyon University in Instructional Technology in 2014.
This is my 10th year with Manchester City Schools. I was at College Street for 7 years where I did everything fom self-contained classes to Inclusion. I spent 2 years at Westwood Elementary where I taught a self-contained special education class. This is my first year at Westwood Middle and I am doing Flight and ISS.

I am married to Jonathan Shedd who teaches Inclusion Math and is an assistant boys basketball coach at Riverdale High School. I have three children. Elizabeth is a senior at Coffee County. Sarah is a freshman at Raider Academy, and Cole is in 8th grade here at WMS. We have a boxer named JJ. My parents are Mark and Susan Yother. My grandparents are Ed and Sue Yother and the late Coolidge and Donna Holt. I have a younger brother named Joey.
When I am not at school you can find me at Manchester FUMC where I am the youth director or somewhere driving my kids around town. When that’s not keeping me busy, I like to read.
